Eleventyseven- Nightmare

ey don't look now but I'm blogging!!!! I don't quite know what I'm going to blog, but here it comes. Well as you saw I went to the beach, and had sooo much fun! Even though we stayed in this tiny...and I mean tiny camper with 6 people......It was awesome anyway! And the next week I had to herd 5 little kids around, at VBS.....that was an experience like no other, I've decided that I will never choose preschoolers again. Period. After that, all the my friends left and went to the beach without me.....*Tear*  And I was left with all the guys in the pool, at Youth singing Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.......that also was an experience like no other. And after that! I had to go through a Volleyball camp, with "Coach Hatchet" *shiver* And somehow I survived that, to my amazement. Oh! and I dyed my hair to match Elmo! Funfunfun! But that's all that really happened since the last time I blogged. Soooo I will try to blog more soon, I doubt I will, but oh well.

SAY NO TO BUGS!!!

Okay....I'm the kind of girl that thinks about the randomest things....One example is that the ceiling fan looks like a little man. Even as a kid, I had the wildest thoughts, I used to think that the factories that had steam coming out of the big pipes were cloud makers. But the newest revelation, was that bugs have to go through an obstacle course when it rains....if you think about it, it makes sense. They have to swerve to avoid large (for a bug) drops of water. It would be quite terrifying for the little guy...but what am I saying, I hate bugs.... Also, I have a new motto:

SAY NO TO BUGS!

GO OCELOTS!!!!

Okay....If you were to name a Volleyball team, what would it be? I would go with something along the lines of The Strikers, The Lions, or The Panthers(GO PANTHERS!) But who in there right mind would pick The Ocelots??? Well that was the name chosen for us.....well......before we picked The Panthers! I didn't even know what an Ocelot was....but thanks to Wikipedia, I now know! It's a type of cat, or more specifically a Leopard.....Wow.....can you just picture the team getting in a circle and screaming "GO OCELOTS!"? I think not...Though I believe it could be used as a strategy for confusing the other team....

ey guys! Sorry I haven't been blogging alot lately....I've had ALOT on my mind, with no way to blog about it. Life is just changing alot for me lately, gaining new friends, my bro going off to college soon(ish), and between volleyball, youth, frisbee, and school, I haven't had alot of time to just let go of my thoughts. I can feel God working in my life, molding, and shaping me into what he wants me to be. But have you ever felt like the world is spinning, and your standing still? Well...that's me. I'm just standing here dizzy from watching it all go by, hoping and praying that when I fall, God will catch me.

Sad Sad Day

Today is a sad day...And not only because it's Monday, but because the home of the best smoothies in the world just closed down....Yes, Tropical Smoothie Cafe (near us) is gone...little did they know, that with that smoothie place, went a little piece of heaven, called The Mocha Madness *angels singing* I feel as though my heart has been ripped out of my chest. Gone.....forever.

Well, I went to a wedding the other day, it was beautiful, I mean gorgeous! It really just makes you think, about life, and what we are really here for...I love watching the grooms face light up when he sees his bride...Since the bride's father wasn't there, they planned it to where the groom would go get her...I loved that. I can't help but picture God coming for us, his face lighting up when he sees us, it's just beautiful. It's amazing how two little words, can change your life forever, "I do"...two harmless little words, with such significance. Here again, my imagination runs away with me, I see God asking us in heaven "Do you love me?" I wonder if we will use the same two words..."I do."

Cinnamon Rolls

I'm trying to think about what to say, but hunger is taking over my mind. I feel like I'm always hungry now....I don't know why. And since I am on the subject of food, I love cinnamon rolls, I mean LOVE! They are one of the best things on earth, the next being muffins...a subject for another day. But back to cinnamon rolls. I believe the glaze on top, is what the use to pave the streets of heaven, and what they feast on there. But the downfall is, my mom is allergic to cinnamon, she can't eat it, smell it, and maybe even see it! For me that means no cinnamon rolls, because, I can't have them in the house. Equaling, a not very happy me. Now occasionally I can get these wonderful swirls of goodness, at a friends house, but not very often. And so I tell you now:

Faith

A man walks into the grocery store, and up to the store assistant. "Mam", she turns around, and pastes on her normal fake I-don't-hate-my-job smile, "Yes Sir, may I help you?". "Why yes you can, I'm looking for Faith", says the man. "Faith, sure right this way" she replies, and leads him towards a checkout counter, to a bored looking blond girl, ringing up some peanuts, "Faith" says the woman, "There is a man here to see you". The man, looking quite disappointed, shakes his head, "No...Not her, I'm looking to buy faith, the faith of a mustard seed" replies the man. "Oh we have mustard seeds, on aisle four!" says the woman. "No, that's not what I'm looking for! I need Faith!" Finally seeing that this was going nowhere, he thanks them for there time, and leaves.

Next he tries the convenient store down the street. He comes up to the counter and asks his question again, "Where can I get some Faith?". The cashier, lets out a quick laugh, "Not here", he says. Very let down, the man walks out. After repeating his question all around town with no success, he slumps on a park bench and sighs.

Soon, he is startled by his cell phone ringing, he flips it open and says hello. "Hey", says the man on the other side, "What's up?" "Nothing" replies the man, "Just trying to find Faith". "Faith? Like at church?". "Yes!" says the man with renewed hope, "Yes I am, I've looked everywhere. You see, the preacher Sunday told me that everyone needs faith, and I want some, I've tried the gym, the park, the grocery store...everywhere! But no one knows where to get any! I guess next I'll have to go door to door and ask people". He hears laughing on the other side, "What?" he asks, "Why are you laughing?". The man, recovering, says, "Well...It's just that, you can't buy Faith, it doesn't work that way...Okay, tell you what, I'll be at the church today around two, can you meet me there?". "Okay" says the quite confused man, "I'll be there".

Later at the church, he sits and waits for the other man to arrive. When he gets there, they sit down. The other man hands him a book. "Um....This is a book" says the disappointed man, "I was hoping you would give me Faith". The other man smiles and laughs, "Just read it", he says, "You'll find your Faith". He takes the book home, and reads it, taking his time so he wouldn't miss his Faith.

Two weeks later, the man died of pancreatic cancer, still clutching the Bible that was given to him that day. The man who gave it to him, spoke at the funeral. "Two weeks ago, I was talking to this man about faith", he says, "You may have even seen him all over town looking for it. Well....he found it, in the Bible".


Now I really don't know why I wrote this, and I hope it made sense. It was in my head, and in my heart, and now on my blog.....

GRAPE JELLY!

I am enraged!!! In a moment of utter insanity, and half priced madness, my mother bought GRAPE jelly instead of STRAWBERRY jelly. Grape is practically inedible, foul, loathsome, the most horrid flavor of jelly on the face of the planet!!! You might think I am overreacting, but I am not! It is nasty, and we can't get strawberry jelly, until all the grape is gone! Isn't that terrible? I won't be able to eat toast for weeks! Again I'm not overreacting! Grape Jelly makes me nauseous! Not desirable! It makes me want to cry, it's so sad! Do you get what I am saying??? GRAPE JELLY!!! YUCK!!! It is an abomination! Overreaction...I think not! WHY ME??? What did I do to deserve this???

You guessed it I'm having a sleepover!!!! Okay, I saw something funny again...I know I know, it's rude to make fun of people...BUT IT'S JUST SO FUN!!!! Okay here's what I saw, wait let me start from the beginning. Today was my first Volleyball practice, if you know me then your probably wondering how it went.....and for your information, this is one sport I can actually do!!!!! Amazing right???...Well after that we had to run a few errands...and while I was sitting in the car, waiting for my mom, I saw the most awesome thing...There was this really HUGE gruff guy walking out of the place....I mean Harley Davidson shirt and everything...But I noticed something, he was holding his shirt really weird...like he had a gun or something, which was my first thought, but then, I saw it wiggle (which really freaked me out) But wait there's more!!...All the sudden a head popped out!!! It was a Chihuahua!!!!!! (which I think should be spelled Chiwawa)

It was so cute!!!! And so out of place!!!!

I saw something the other day that intrigued me...There was this man, at a grocery store..cough cough Publix...he had a hair net on....HE WAS BALD!!!!....And yet he still wore it....Did he believe that it would just sprout randomly, and fly into the food he was preparing???? It was an amazing sight to me...I almost screamed "HE'S BALD" but refrained, due to the fact he was standing right in front of me....So I held my outburst inside...well maybe I said something quietly to my Dad....who coincidentally works there....But in all the excitement, one very serious thing stuck out to me.....HE HAD NO HAIR, AND WAS WEARING A HAIR NET!!!!!!!

Okay I have found a new love of posting videos on here......So this is from another one of my favorite movies: Princess Bride, yes. I know you've heard of it (I believe everyone has)(or should) So sense I have run out of things to say...Without further audie...here it is:

Wow! That's a really long title! It is a line from one of my favorite movies, The Court Jester!!! (pause for applause) This movie is hilarious! It takes him so long to learn that line...almost as long as it took for me to learn the emoticon monkey...but that's a whole other story. This movie is kind of a Robin Hood tale, it's about this guy who used to be a circus performer, who is undercover as a court jester (hence the title) because the "King" who is not really king (hence the quotation marks) has taken over the throne by killing the royal family (well almost). The only one who will stand up to him is a band in the forest, The Black Fox..but anyways it's a long story, and to hear the rest I guess you'll just have to watch it. And so I will end here with a short (okay long) clip from the movie.....

AWFUL HOUSE

And again I shall talk about something in which I abhor most.......the dreaded WAFFLE HOUSE~shiver~ This restaurant is most likely the worst place in the world......YUCK!!!!!!....Unwashed Plates.....Terrible Food.....and Horrible Neon Signs, that never have the same color squares...NEVER!!!!!! Not once have I ever seen a Waffle House sign with the same color yellow! How is that possible?....Not even one!!!!! And they're Everywhere, at every exit, in every state, nationwide!!!!!!!....."Okay calm down".........You may disagree with me, but there it is the simple truth, WAFFLE HOUSE is the worst, most horrible, nasty, disgusting, beastly, dirty, disagreeable, filthy, gross, grubby, repugnant, repulsive, revolting, sickening, unappetizing, place on the planet! And exactly why it is nicknamed (by me): AWFUL HOUSE.

My Past, My Present and My Future

Well....I have nothing to write...again....so I guess I'll choose a subject I'm very familiar with...MY LIFE!!!!...Okay about two years ago my big bro broke his leg playing hockey....yeah...broken femur=bad memories. Then when he got cleared to play hockey again, our house burned down.......that was really a bummer, we lost everything, and it started in my room. I remember sitting at my friends house a few days later and thinking Was it all a bad dream??? Did that really happen???....it really came as a shock...I mean....wow. We had to live at our friends house for nine months...yeah life wasn't too easy then. But I can see where God had his hand in it, with the firemen pulling my bro's hockey bag out of the fire so he could play the next day, and that we weren't in the house when it caught fire. God pulled us through and blessed us with a beautiful house, and he even saved our big fat cat, I remember we walked up to see a HUGE fireman giving oxygen to him in the driveway. I think it's amazing that you can spend your whole life collecting stuff, and then it be gone in an instant. Thinking about it now, I have nothing I really just have to have (well maybe my purse...)(jk). No matter what I've been through, God has helped me. Now don't think I want to go through that again, but I know now that whatever happens in the future, I have God on my side, and that's all I need.

My Thoughts On Leap Year

I just got back from seeing Leap Year at the movies, and by the way it was awesome! To sum the movie up: Anna(Amy Adams) wants to be married to Jeremy(the ugly sorta mean guy) who had commitment issues. So to get her way Anna decides to fly to Dublin to purpose to Jeremy using an Irish tradition, that a woman can to purpose to a man on the 29th of January which is Leap Year, that only happens once every four years. So she gets a flight to Dublin, that has to land somewhere else due to storms. She gets a hotel room at this little pub, where she meets Declan, the owner, who after some convincing agrees to drive her to Dublin....I'm not going to give away the ending but I will say this.....Throw it in the wash, it'll be grand.

Do you smell that, that delicious wonderfulness??? The amazing scent, the beautiful aroma. Yes, it's Coffee.....my mouth is watering already. I believe coffee is the best most awesomest drink in the world........and I am right of course. It has the best smell in the world, and an even better taste. Oh and T FYI I drink Decaff.

What Went Wrong?

My big bro and I were talking while I was coughcough "doing" school reading, and we realized that once a long time ago, my twenty pound cat could actually jump on to our pool table. I ask myself what went wrong? Is it my fault that now he can barely jump up onto the couch. I only gave him cat treats constantly, and fed him five times a day, just being a loving owner. Well......if loving is throwing him down the stairs.......hey in my defense I was little!

The Empty Wrapper

As I sit here staring at this empty wrapper, I wonder where it went, I wonder did I really eat the whole thing? I mean I gave some to my dad and some to him and her but....what happened to the rest? It's the Giant Bar...huge....I couldn't have eaten the whole thing....could I? Hmmmmmm...mysterious....very mysterious.

Sculptor

Hmmmmmm...what to make, what to make. I imagine when God was creating everything, he sat there scratching his chin, wondering what to make next. With all the angels shouting out ideas. 'That one should have a stripes', or 'that one should have a really long beak'. As he wipes a bead of sweat off his forehead, he carefully sculpts the rest of the creature. "There it's done, are you ready? Because this one is good" he says as he sets it down, everyone gasps in awe as he gives it life, and sets it down next to a tree. Next will be his greatest being, the one closest to him, in his image. Tirelessly, he forms man, and as his special mark, he leans over and breathes life into him, and sets him down. A tear rolls down his cheek, "Look" he says "This one is really good, now I am finished".

The Adventure Chair

Okay...This is so amazing I must tell you about it. At a friend of mines house( here's a hint her name rimes with Cali and her last name is a type of bird(if u didn't get that I'm sorry wow!). Anyways about this chair, it's an amazing chair. Every time you move, it goes Clank Clu Clu CLANK!!! It's actually very scary, you see this chair is built completely on hope, hope that it will not collapse underneath you. And also built on prayer, prayer that you will not die while sitting on it. But in all it's scariness I love this chair, it has become one of my very best friends(jk).So here's a shout out to my friend The Adventure Chair!!!! It's an adventure, in a chair (pause for applause).

The Whisper

Shhh!...did you hear that?....hmm...maybe it was just me........Wait there it is again! It's a faint hum, no a beautiful song, or maybe a small whistle. Never mind, it's almost gone now , but wasn't it amazing? It just came out of nowhere and....wow!......You see in First Kings 9, Elijah was running for his life and hiding in a cave. And the LORD spoke to him, and told him to go to the mouth of the cave, and wait for the LORD was going to pass by. Right then a huge and powerful earthquake erupted, that shattered rocks and tore through mountains. But the LORD wasn't in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD wasn't in the fire. Next was a gentle whisper. Sometimes God doesn't use the biggest or the most powerful, but the small and weak, to do his work. All my life I never thought I would do or be anything special, I mean really...I fail at most everything I do. But if he can use a whisper to alert Elijah then maybe he can use me.

Happy Birthday!!!!!-Okay not really, I'm just being random. I have what you call Typers Block, which simply means I really don't know what to type. So when this block happens I write something random(hence the name Random TWFLness). So here it is...........Peanut Butter, delicious, creamy, wonderful. I personally use the brand Peter Pan. Did you know that they have the word peanut written on there four times? Yes four! We only need once or maybe even twice, but four!!! They even have it in the allergy warning area.I mean we humans aren't that dumb, as to get peanut butter and not know it contains peanuts! Now you may be thinking that I am probably the only one in the world who would notice this, but there it is the simple truth,Peanut Butter contains peanuts, you may be gasping, but yes it does.

Shame

I cry myself to sleep, shame for what I have done eats at me constantly. I remember the blood on my hands, and his face twisted in agony. I see him in my dreams, and every time I close my eyes. He was innocent, but I made him guilty, his death was my fault. I know it was his plan to die all along, but it still seems I put him up to it. The perfect one, is what they called him, and he was, and by my ignorance he was killed. He was telling the truth, when he said who he was, but I didn't believe him. And even after the deed was done, it didn't stop him. He defied the rules of life and rose. He washed all the sin from my past and present and forgave me. But every thought I think that's not of him, crucifies him again. His undying love picks me back up, pats me on the back and says it's okay, just try again, I will never stop loving you no matter what you do.

Ultimate frisbee tomorrow......I feel cold already. If your wondering, I am naturally a wimp when it comes to cold, there's just nothing about it that I really like. Really, just think about it your standing on a cold frisbee field.......shivering.....lips turning blue.....legs going numb.......expected to catch a frisbee that's being thrown at you. When in the cold touching anything hurts...I think not. But I go, to socialize and to exercise, plus what else would I do on an early Saturday morning? definitely not sleeping, of course. Is it too much to ask for an indoor field??? Yeah I'll dream on.
